For Artists
The furry community is an arts community before anything else. There is no “furry” without artists to help express our imagined creatures, whether through drawing, writing, costuming, or any other medium. Furry art inspires young people to learn to draw… and it’s how countless artists make their living.
The Otterdam Furry Arts Festival aims to better integrate furry art with the larger art world through several initiatives at the event:
| Artist’s Alley* | Artists are invited to reserve table space to sell their (furry-related, family-friendly) wares at a market that’s open to all visitors. |
| Artist Skillshare* | Talks to help you improve your skills and professionalism, and to help you understand the furry art market. |
| Art Jam | A casual, open area for creating with other artists. |
| “The Den“ | A separate, parent-led creativity space for under-18s. |
| Your Idea Here* | We’ve left some spaces clear on the schedule. Have an interesting idea that fits the space? Tell us! |
